We have a pool in our backyard
Every year after the snow melts we have a pool, lake, mess or what ever you want to call it. You see our backyard is the lowest in the area of 5 houses (our 3 backyard neighburs and one on each side). So guess who gets the run off.....Me. So out comes the pumpand the rubber boots and we send the water to the front street to go down the gutter. It usually takes 3 days with the pump going all day. If you dont get rid of it, it will kill the grass. But it is nice to have spring here for the time being .. it is still early.. we could get our April/May blizzard yet. Guess I wont be planting any flowers for awhile

A picture says a thousand words, right??? Even though you told us there was water in your back yard and we did believe you, but this is more than proof. Hope the pump does its job and rids the water in time for the grass to grow.

It's really bad this year. I guess cause it all melted so fast.

I was to you house today (Tuesday) to see the back yard.. Good thing you have a pump or your basement would be an "indoor pool". It dried up last year and will probably do the same this year, in a few days.

The best was when we were little and we used to throw rocks into "the pond" in our backyard and watch the water ripple. Then dad would mow the rocks in the lawnmower and get really mad at us.
