A Saturday Marathon

It is a good thing that Brett is running (races) marathons as it makes me sit down and write a spot for the blog. Today we went over to Regina to catch him cross the finish line for another half marathon. (His personal best). As you can see in the photo his number #1 fan (Chloe) was waiting to cheer him on as he crossed the line. It was also a surprise to see good friends of ours (from the same graduating classes as us) there to watch their son cross the finish line also. Blair, Susan and we both indicated that though "we" had never accomplished something like this it was great to see our kids do it.. (their kids are long distant runners also). I imagine by spring time next year we will have photos of Beckie doing the same, as she is begging to take up the sport and is now up to the 6k in her efforts... Go Beckie Go..
