Regina Queen City Marathon - "Yeah Brett"
His Greatest Fan and Cheerleader
Kathy, Beckie, Kevin, Chloe and I where honoured to share the day with Brett and encourage him on his first ever Marathon run. Brett had began running the first part of February this year and has did great in his first seven months of dedication (and loss of a few pounds). This spring he ran his first half marathon (see spring blog articles) and decided he was going for the 42 km run. He finished the race in 4 hours and 47 minutes. His goal was to just finish and we are proud of him for his first time. Below are some photos and a video of the "FINISH LINE". Brett wil be the first to say that during his growing up years he never was an athlete, well that has changed he has accomplished something only some of us only dream we could do.
Way to go Son.
