Rhaea 10:30 a.m.
Just talked to Kathy, Brett and her are home from Regina , Brett was there all day with Uncle George Aunt Terri and Pam (Ryan and Heidi came later in afternoon from Radville) At 7:30 they took Rhea to OR to begin surgery on her leg. It looks like they will be placing plates, pins and a rod to fix it. The surgery was to be 2-3 hours. the word was if the catscan showed positive signs and nothing else thy may have her up and out of bed tommorow. Thanks for everyones concern and prayers. She will stay in ICU recovery overnight.

Thanks for the update. I had talked to Donna last evening and learned of the accident, so have been praying for Rhea. Our love and prayers for you all, Kathy and Dale
I just found your update. We hadn't heard of the accident. How upsetting! I hope surgery went well. Rhea is a young and healthy gal so we'll be praying for a successful recovery as soon as possible. Stan and Maxine
We were in to see Rhaea last evening before they took her up to surgery. She was in some pain with her leg and head injury and was pretty groggy, but we were able to get a smile or two out of her. We do feel so blessed that she is as "okay" as she is. When we saw pictures of the car--oh my!! Both the RCMP and SGI said that usually when a car looks like hers, there is no way the driver would survive. So, we'll take the broken bone, head injury and the bumps and bruises!!!!
Some may not have heard, but Rachelle (Johnson) Grocott was one of the firepeople called out with the Jaws of Life from Moose Jaw yesterday and she was able to tell the RCMP who Rhaea's parents were and where to get ahold of them. That is the only part of the whole ordeal that Rhaea can remember--that Rachelle was beside her talking to her--what a blessing!!!
Please keep Rhaea in your prayers, that she will heal quickly with no lasting side-effects.
