Sad News
We where shocked and saddend this week to recieve word that Monty Marshall had died suddenley of a heart attach while curling. Monty is the oldest son of my cousin Audrey (Marshall). Monty lived and worked in Weyburn. He attended Western Christian College. His service is scheduled for Tuesday in Weyburn at the Lutheran Church at 2:00 p.m. We think of his wife, his mom Audrey and her family and his grandmother Aunt Evelyn at this time.

Sad news today also on the death of another cousin Ruthanne Jacobs. Ruthanne has fought a valant struggle with cancer for many years however to day with her family at her side she passed away. Ruthanne is the wife of Lloyd Jacobs who was raised by Uncle Ed and Aunt Helen Elford in Manitoba. Lloyd and Ruthanne made their home in Manson, Manitoba where many childhood memories for all of us occured. We think of Lloyd, LaWanda, LaDean and Lyndon and thier families at this time. Ruthanne's service to is planed for Tuesday at 2:00 PM at the United Church in Moosomin.

This week also, was word from Vernon B.C that Aunt Muriel Jacobs (Mom sister) had taken a severe stroke. At present they are keeping her comfortable, but it was indicated that there may be some brain damage. Our thoughts are with Ray, Betty and family, Bob and his family and Ellen and family
One never knows what the next day will bring

I am sorry that I never checked your Blog yesterday. However in a phone conversation from Aunt Evelyn this PM, she told me that you had posted a picture of Monty.
Thanks Lew for posting news of our family, it is appreciated by all who view it.
I did not phone the Big Beaver family yesterday on the news of Ruthanne as I knew they were all at Shannon's. However thanks to Beulah she called Evelyn this AM to let them know.
She said that both Delmer and Audrey would have liked to have been at Ruthanne's, but not possible, as it is with other family.
Thank you for a wonderful posting
Mom
Lew and Kathy,
Just wanted to let you know that we're sorry for the difficulties your family has had to deal with in the past few days. You're all in our thoughts and prayers.
Tracy, Kurt and family
It had been one endless prayer chain lately, hasn't it. Thanks for posting the pictures. We're off to Moosomin if the weather is cooperative!
Thanks so much Lew for your pictures and tributes. Mom and Dad have been blessed by so many good friends and family and that really does make this all easier to bear. LaWanda
